Postgraduate Scholarship in Classical Piano Performance

The Postgraduate Scholarship in Classical Piano Performance is designed to assist classical pianists entering postgraduate study at either the New Zealand School of Music or an approved overseas institute. This scholarship has been established by an anonymous bequest donor to support talented piano students pursuing advanced studies in classical piano performance. The scholarship is available to New Zealand citizens, permanent residents entering postgraduate studies at the New Zealand School of Music or an approved overseas institute, as well as international students applying specifically to the New Zealand School of Music. Recipients are expected to demonstrate engagement and contribute to the community and environment of the New Zealand School of Music through participation in ensembles, presentations, or performances at NZSM or university events. Students may apply for a second year of scholarship funding, making it potentially renewable for exceptional candidates.
