Postgraduate Scholarship in Macular Research

This scholarship provides financial assistance to a PhD student undertaking macular research at the University of Sydney. The scholarship has been established from funds generated from an appeal for the Macular Research Group of the Save Sight Institute. Candidates must conduct their PhD as part of the Macular Research Group and focus on macular research. The scholarship specifically supports students whose research has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The award provides tuition fee support valued at $18,000 per annum for up to 8 research periods, subject to satisfactory academic performance. Recipients must be enrolled full-time in a PhD within the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney.
