A postgraduate research scholarship offering up to $40,000 per annum for a PhD student undertaking research in phage therapy for rapidly growing mycobacteria. This scholarship is funded by New South Wales (NSW) Health and the Westmead Institute for Medical Research as part of the NSW Health Phage Therapy PhD Program. The scholarship provides a unique opportunity for an outstanding PhD scholar to conduct a specific research project named 'Phage Therapy for Rapidly Growing Mycobacteria' under the supervision of Dr Ameneh Khatami within the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney. The scholarship includes a stipend allowance and supports full-time or approved part-time study for up to 3.5 years, with recipients required to commence by February 28, 2022, and complete by May 20, 2025.
