About this opportunity
This travel bursary supports Masters by Research or PhD students conducting research in classics and ancient history. The scholarship provides financial assistance to undertake research travel outside Australia. The bursary is funded by donations from multiple donors and aims to help students advance their core research aims through international travel. The maximum value of the bursary is $1,980 AUD, which is paid as a lump sum payment upon receipt of the Scholarship Acceptance form. Recipients must be currently enrolled in a Masters by Research or PhD within Classics and Ancient History at the School of Humanities, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Sydney. Preference is given to applicants who have no other means of funding their international travel for research. Recipients are required to write a report to the School upon their return and give a presentation.
