Poultry Industry Education Trust (PIET) International Travel Award 2026

The Poultry Industry Education Trust (PIET) International Travel Award 2026 is designed for students from Ireland who plan to undertake a placement, or part of a placement, overseas in the poultry industry or closely associated sectors such as veterinary practices with poultry clientele. The scholarship funds travel to any country or countries other than Great Britain or Ireland. Where the course studied does not have an industry placement element, the PIET trustees will consider applications to undertake an equivalent placement abroad immediately upon graduating and before permanent employment is undertaken. The scholarship is payable against receipted, pre-approved costs, providing financial support for international travel experiences that enhance students' understanding and expertise in the poultry industry.
