About this opportunity
The Powell Memorial Scholarship is offered by the ANU School of Music in the College of Arts and Social Sciences to increase access and provide opportunities for students undertaking undergraduate study at the School. Funding for this Award has been provided by Tessa Ivison in memory of her partner Maxine Powell, an alumna of the School of Music who remembered her time at ANU and the school fondly. The scholarship is valued at $5,000 per annum for up to four years of study, with payments made per semester. The Award is available to prospective or current domestic ANU students who are Australian citizens, permanent residents or permanent humanitarian visa holders, enrolled in or receiving an offer of admission to an undergraduate program offered by the School of Music, and experiencing financial hardship.
