About this opportunity
The Kate Edger Foundation offers Practicum Awards to assist women to carry out study for a Bachelor's or Master's degree with a required practicum component. These awards are specifically designed to support students who must undertake a practicum, which is usually unpaid and involves travel or residence away from home. The award recognizes the financial burden that unpaid practical placements can create for students pursuing degrees that require hands-on professional experience. Up to four awards will be made annually for a year of study that requires a student to undertake a practicum. The foundation seeks to remove financial barriers that might prevent women from completing essential practical components of their degree programs.
