About This Opportunity

The Prasad Prize for High Performance Architecture is awarded to the Year Two or Year Three Bachelor of Architectural Studies student who achieved the highest GPA across specific architecture courses. The Prize was established in 2018 and is funded by Deo Prasad AO, an alumnus of the School of Architecture and Planning, who is Scientia Professor and CEO of the Low Carbon Living CRC at the University of New South Wales, and an international authority on sustainable buildings and cities. The main purpose of the Prize is to recognise and reward excellence in ecologically positive design in studio design projects in years two and three of the Bachelor of Architectural Studies. This is an annual prize valued at $2,000 and is awarded by nomination, with no application required from students.
