About this opportunity
The Center for Hellenic Studies (CHS) grants up to 3 fellowships per year to Ph.D. candidates from Greek universities who conduct research on topics related to ancient Greek civilization. The duration of each fellowship is 12 months (July–June), during which fellows complete a semester-long (July–December) research project of their own choice. Right after the semester-long research project, the fellows are asked to submit an article to be published at CHS Research Bulletin, and before the end of their year-long appointment, they are asked to submit a project report. Throughout the appointment, and especially during its second half, fellows are invited to participate in various CHS activities to share their findings and collaborate with other fellows and members of the CHS community. The fellowship provides year-long access to Harvard University's online databases and resources, a 10-day educational trip to CHS in Washington DC, invitation to pre-publish research outcomes in CHS e-Journals, and academic support from the academic committee.
