About This Opportunity

The Presidential Partnership Scholarship is a competitive scholarship award for entering transfer students from Mississippi community and junior colleges. Students must be nominated by their community/junior college president for consideration. Based on presidential recommendations and established criteria, the MSU Scholarship Committee selects one student from each Mississippi community/junior college. This prestigious scholarship covers the cost of tuition for up to 5 semesters, capped at the regular 12-16 hour tuition rate, without adjustments for overload charges. The scholarship is renewable for up to 5 semesters provided the recipient maintains an overall college GPA of 3.0 and continuous full-time enrollment of 12 credit hours per semester at MSU. Recipients must be members of Phi Theta Kappa and enroll in the FYE-CC Presidential Scholars course. This scholarship is awarded in lieu of other transfer scholarships including the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship, Transfer Academic Scholarship, Phi Theta Kappa President Scholarship, and Phi Theta Kappa Officer Scholarship.
