About This Opportunity

The Presidential Scholarship for Students of Black Heritage - Postgraduate is designed to support talented students of Black heritage pursuing postgraduate study at Imperial College London. The scholarship aims to promote diversity and inclusion in higher education by providing comprehensive financial support to students from underrepresented backgrounds. The award covers tuition fees, maintenance costs, and equipment expenses, enabling recipients to focus fully on their academic and research pursuits. Each scholarship provides Home tuition fees up to £18,500 (with full fees covered for certain courses), an annual maintenance grant of £21,000, and an equipment allowance of £1,500. Additionally, scholars receive mentoring support to help them succeed throughout their postgraduate studies. Four scholarships are available annually, with one award designated for each faculty at Imperial College London for candidates with Home Fee status.
