About this opportunity
The Presidential Scholarship for Students of Black Heritage is designed to support postgraduate students from Black heritage backgrounds pursuing full-time or part-time Master's degrees at Imperial College London. This scholarship aims to increase diversity and representation in higher education by providing comprehensive financial support to talented students. The scholarship covers home tuition fees up to £18,500 (with full fees covered for certain programs), provides a generous annual maintenance grant of £22,041, and includes an equipment allowance of £1,500. Additionally, recipients benefit from mentoring support through Imperial's Activate student mentoring programme. Four scholarships are available in the 2026/2027 academic year, with one award designated for each faculty. The scholarship is part of Imperial's commitment to widening participation and supporting students from underrepresented backgrounds in pursuing advanced studies in science, engineering, medicine, and business disciplines.
