President's International Distinction Scholarship (ML) - Renewable

The President's International Distinction Scholarship (ML) is awarded to international students on a Study Permit with superior academic achievement entering the first year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Alberta. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional academic standing combined with leadership, community engagement, volunteerism, and/or involvement in extracurricular activities. This is a renewable scholarship that provides funding support for up to four years of undergraduate study. Renewal of funding for the second, third, and fourth years is contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a minimum 18 credits over the most recent September to April period at the University of Alberta, while maintaining status as a student on a Study Permit. Recipients may not receive any other University of Alberta international entrance awards or scholarships concurrently.
