About this opportunity
The President's Scholarship in Science is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement entering the second, third, or fourth year in the Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta. The recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing. If the number of well qualified candidates exceeds the number of scholarships available, financial need will be taken into account. This scholarship was endowed in 1943 by Standard Investments Limited through the late Mr Justice HH Parlee.
