About this opportunity
The Principal's Regional Starter Scholarship has been developed to encourage and support students who are attending a regional high school to commence an undergraduate degree at Curtin University. Eligible West Australian high school principals can nominate two students for this scholarship based on academic merit, showing improvement during their high school studies, potential to achieve at university, adverse personal circumstances, or financial difficulties. The scholarship provides a one-off cash payment of $1,500 that can be used at the recipient's discretion to contribute towards educational related expenses. Recipients must be high school leavers from eligible West Australian regional, rural, or remote schools completing ATAR or UniReady in Schools in 2025, and must be enrolling full-time in an undergraduate degree at Curtin University in Semester 1, 2026.
