About this opportunity
The Prix Esdras-Minville is an excellence award given to a doctoral student or recent graduate from HEC Montréal who has published or had an article accepted in a peer-reviewed journal during the past calendar year. The article must have been accepted or published before the defense. This prize recognizes outstanding research contribution and the quality of publication in recognized academic journals.
The award evaluates candidates based on the importance and nature of their contribution to the article (30%), the quality of the research presented (30%), the contribution to the advancement of knowledge (20%), and the caliber of the journal according to HEC Montréal's research excellence recognition policy (20%). Articles from all fields are accepted, and the research must have been published or accepted in a peer-reviewed journal since January 1st of the previous year.
Candidates must be full-time Ph.D. students who have completed and passed at least one semester of study in the program, or recent graduates who published or had an article accepted before their defense during the competition year. The article cannot have been submitted to a previous competition.
