Produksjonstilskudd

Produksjonstilskudd is a production subsidy program for agricultural enterprises in Norway. The program encompasses various support schemes including area subsidies, cultural landscape subsidies, livestock subsidies, grazing subsidies, wilderness grazing subsidies, dairy production operating subsidies, specialized beef production subsidies, subsidies for small and medium-sized dairy farms, subsidies for endangered livestock breeds, subsidies for organic farming, and district subsidies for fruit, berries and greenhouse vegetables. The program also includes support for holiday and leisure relief services for farm operators. Eligible enterprises must be engaged in regular agricultural production, registered in the Norwegian Business Register, and have disposal rights over the land and animals for which subsidies are requested. Applications are submitted electronically through Altinn with two annual deadlines.
