Professional Association of Resident Physicians of Alberta Award

Awarded to a convocating student with satisfactory academic standing in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on indicated financial need and academic standing. The student must have completed the CaRMS matching program and be entering a residency position within Alberta. Funds are intended to support educational activities including conferences, courses, seminars, symposia registration fees, travel, accommodation and living expenses, books, journals, and software. This award is funded through an endowment by the Professional Association of Resident Physicians of Alberta (PARA).
