Professional Leadership Development Scholarship (Executive MBA)

This scholarship was established to provide a professional development opportunity to University of Sydney staff and to enhance the capability of the University to achieve its strategic objectives. The scholarship supports University of Sydney employees who are in senior leadership roles to pursue an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA). Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a Professional or Academic leadership role and be involved in the broader purposes of the University including its contribution to Australian society. The scholarship covers either 50% or 100% of tuition fees for the duration of the Executive MBA program, awarded based on ranking against selection criteria. Selection is based on academic merit, personal integrity, performance in an interview, motivation to succeed in business in a socially responsible way, and a personal statement demonstrating leadership capability, problem-solving acuity, ability to work with diverse stakeholders, and international orientation. Recipients must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark of 65 each semester and remain employed by the University of Sydney throughout the program.
