Professor Edward P. Furlani Scholarship

The Professor Edward P. Furlani Scholarship was established in 2019 by Karen Furlani to honor her late husband and former University at Buffalo engineering professor, Edward P. Furlani, PhD '82, MA '80 & BS '77. This scholarship recognizes outstanding undergraduate seniors in engineering who are planning to pursue advanced degrees. The scholarship supports students in electrical engineering and chemical and biological engineering disciplines. Two students are selected annually, one from each engineering discipline, who demonstrate strong preparation and commitment to graduate or professional study.
