Professor Long Innovation Award

The Professor Long Innovation Award is an annual prize established by Professor Adrian Long upon his retirement. This award recognizes excellence and innovation in civil engineering education at Queen's University Belfast. The award is available to students from any of the Civil Engineering degree programmes and aims to encourage innovative thinking in structural design and project work. The award honors either the best third year project on innovation or the individual student who demonstrated exceptional innovative flair in a structural design project in the final year of the MEng course. This prize celebrates academic excellence and innovative approaches in the field of civil engineering.
