About this opportunity
The Professor M.Z. Cohn Graduate Scholarship is awarded annually to a University of Waterloo graduate student registered full-time in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The scholarship, valued at $1,000, has been established through a generous donation by the late Professor Mircea Z. Cohn. Preference is given to students conducting research in the area of Structures, Mechanics and Construction Engineering. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of scholastic excellence and students are selected automatically by the Faculty or Department. This award is available to both Canadian/permanent residents and international students with study permits pursuing master's or doctoral degrees.
