About this opportunity
The Professor Robert Nola Memorial Scholarship was established in 2024 in memory of Professor Robert Nola and his contribution to the discipline of Philosophy and the University of Auckland. Professor Nola was a staunch advocate and exemplar of the value of philosophical reasoning and analysis in all areas of thought. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to support and encourage sub-doctoral postgraduate study in Philosophy at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland. The scholarship provides up to $8,000 to support domestic BA(Hons) or MA students majoring in Philosophy for one year of study. One scholarship is awarded annually, with applications opening in late February and closing in early April each year.
