About this opportunity
The Swedish Research Council offers project grants aimed at increasing researcher mobility and supporting collaboration between universities and society, including industry, public, and non-profit sectors, to enhance research quality and impact within medicine and health. The grant is intended to fund a postdoctoral researcher who will conduct a research project at both a Swedish university and an external partner organization (a company or private/public organization in Sweden). The purpose is to give researchers the freedom to formulate their own research ideas, methods, and execution while solving a defined research task within a limited time in collaboration with an external partner. The grant can only be used to finance a postdoc who will carry out the research project at the university and at the collaborating partner in Sweden. The funding aims to support cross-sectoral collaboration that strengthens research quality, promotes researcher mobility between sectors, and contributes to long-term development of the research field. The collaboration should benefit both the research project and the career development of the postdoctoral researcher.
