Project grant for international collaboration within health research (ERA4Health)
About This Opportunity
The purpose of the grant is to support international collaboration within Fostering a European Research Area for Health Research (ERA4Health), with the aim of funding transnational research collaborations in the European area within prioritised health areas. Sweden is, via the Swedish Research Council, one of the countries taking part in the call Multi-country Investigator-Initiated Clinical Trials in Cardiovascular, Autoimmune and Metabolic diseases (Trials4Health 2026). This grant specifically supports Swedish researchers participating in international consortiums conducting investigator-initiated clinical trials in cardiovascular, autoimmune and metabolic diseases. The funding requires Swedish partners to submit parallel applications to the Swedish Research Council while participating in the consortium application to ERA4Health. The grant supports 4-year research projects with comprehensive funding for all project-related costs including salaries, premises, running costs, and depreciation costs.
