About this opportunity
This grant supports international collaborations within the European Partnership for Personalised Medicine (EP PerMed) with the goal of promoting the development and implementation of personalised medicine. Sweden participates through the Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet) in the EP PerMed call titled 'Personalised Medicine for CARdiovascular, MEtabolic, and KidNey diseases (CARMEN2026)'. The funding is intended for Swedish researchers who are part of international consortia with partners from at least three participating countries. The grant provides support for all types of project-related costs including salaries, premises, operational costs, and depreciation. Applicants must submit parallel applications both to the EP PerMed consortium system and to Vetenskapsrådet's Prisma system. The application process involves a two-stage procedure with a preliminary application (sketch) followed by a full application for selected candidates. Swedish participation can include one or two Swedish partners per consortium, with a maximum total funding of 4.5 million SEK when two Swedish partners are involved.
