Projektbidrag för planering eller förstudie inför framtida klinisk studie inom behandlingsforskning

This project grant is designed to enable researchers in academia and healthcare to collaborate with other actors in preparation for a future application for a clinical therapy research study grant. The grant finances planning activities or the implementation of a pilot study in preparation for such a future clinical study. The purpose is to create opportunities for a group of researchers to collaborate nationally before applying for a larger clinical study grant within therapy research. The planning or pilot study should assess the feasibility of a future well-defined therapy research project, including national patient recruitment plans across multiple regions, regulatory approval processes, procurement of investigational medicinal products, and systematic reviews to establish the knowledge gap. Applicants are expected to establish national collaboration networks involving both junior and senior researchers, include patient involvement in planning, and aim to submit a future clinical therapy research study application to the Swedish Research Council within 1-2 years.
