Projektbidrag inom naturvetenskap och teknikvetenskap

The Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet) offers project grants within natural and engineering sciences to give researchers freedom to formulate their own research ideas, methods, and execution, and to solve defined research tasks within a limited time. The grant supports research projects ranging from 1 to 4 years with funding between 400,000 and 1,500,000 SEK per year. Applications are assessed by specialized review panels of Swedish and international researchers based on scientific quality criteria including the project's scientific quality, innovation and originality, applicant's competence, and feasibility. The grant can cover all project-related costs including salaries, facilities, operational costs, and depreciation costs. The funding period starts in January 2026.
