About This Opportunity
The Promising Practitioner Awards are granted to DVM students at the Atlantic Veterinary College who are graduating from the four year program and intend to practice large animal medicine with a special interest and priority for bovine medicine. The students must demonstrate knowledge of, and the ability to network with, the dairy and/or beef industry, as well as the ability to network with Canadian bovine veterinarians. Preference will be given to students with strong connections to Atlantic Canada. This award was established in November 2021 through a generous gift from an anonymous donor to create an endowed fund in support of awards for AVC students.
