About This Opportunity
Stiftelsen Promobilia offers fellowships for research and development aimed at promoting an active and independent life for people living with disabilities. The foundation's purpose is to support the development and dissemination of assistive devices, particularly for increased mobility, as well as scientific research to create new assistive devices and restore mobility and communication abilities for people with disabilities. The Promobilia Fellowships aim to give talented individuals with a strong interest in disability research the opportunity to begin a research career in this field. By contributing to more researchers establishing themselves in this important area, the foundation hopes to strengthen and develop the disability research field to ultimately contribute to people with disabilities being given greater opportunities to live an active and independent life. Promobilia Fellows are part of a network of researchers invited approximately once a year to the Promobilia Fellows Symposium to exchange experiences and stimulate collaborations.
