About this opportunity

This project grant program aims to revitalize and develop the Kven language and promote Kven/Norwegian-Finnish culture in Norway. The program has a special focus on promoting Kven language and Kven/Norwegian-Finnish identity among children and young people. Funding is available for projects focused on language revitalization, cultural promotion, strengthening identity among youth, documentation and dissemination of knowledge about Kvens and Norwegian-Finns, and cross-border projects related to Kven language and culture. The program targets voluntary organizations, private individuals, municipalities, institutions, and enterprises. Projects must be time-limited with clear start and end dates, and must have the purpose of strengthening Kven language and Kven/Norwegian-Finnish culture in Norway.
