Pūtea Tautoko - Doctoral Financial Support Grant

The Pūtea Tautoko - Doctoral Financial Support Grant was established by Massey University with combined funds donated by the Massey University Foundation and doctoral examiners who have contributed their examination fee to this fund. These grants aim to support doctoral students who are facing exceptional financial hardship caused by an unforeseen set of circumstances such as illness, job loss, injury, family loss, or natural disaster. Applications are accepted year-round and assessed on a rolling basis, with selection occurring at the start of each month for applications received in the previous month. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a doctoral degree and making satisfactory progress in their research. Students who are on an extension or have submitted their thesis for examination are not eligible for this grant.
