About this opportunity

The Georgia Public Safety Memorial Grant provides grant funds to the dependent children of Georgia Public Safety Officers who were permanently disabled or killed in the line of duty. Funds may be used towards the cost of attendance. The award is based on a first-come first-served basis as funds are available. Recipients receive an award that covers their total cost of attendance, minus any other student financial aid (excluding any loans), not to exceed $18,000 per award year. Recipients are able to receive payment for a maximum of 8 semesters of undergraduate study. This grant is designed to support the families of public safety officers who made significant sacrifices in service to Georgia communities.
