The Qualcomm Award for Excellence in Electrical and Electronic Engineering is an annual prize offered by University College Cork (UCC) in Ireland. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding academic achievement in Electrical and Electronic Engineering programs at UCC. The award consists of a monetary prize of €5,000 and is presented to the student who has demonstrated exceptional performance throughout their studies. To be eligible, students must have achieved the highest percentage graduation mark in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (BE or ME programmes), which must not be lower than 80%. Additionally, recipients must have maintained first class honours (or above 70%) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in each year of study at UCC.
