Quality Equipment - GE Baker Pig Industry Scholarship (with placement year)

The Quality Equipment - GE Baker Pig Industry Scholarship is offered to second-year BSc or first-year FdSc students studying at Harper Adams University who are interested in careers in the pig industry. The scholarship provides a significant contribution of £4,500 towards education and includes a paid work placement year with the sponsoring pig industry company during 2026/27. The award is paid in two equal installments, with half paid in February 2026 and the remainder in May 2026. This competitive scholarship is evaluated based on the merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date, and interview performance. Subject to review at the end of the placement year, there may be opportunities for further funding in the scholar's final academic year. The scholarship is offered by multiple pig industry organizations including Quality Equipment G E Baker Ltd, Rattlerow, Sofina Foods, Myton Food Group, Morrisons Manufacturing & AHDB, and Cargill.
