About This Opportunity

The Quantum Science Supplementary Scholarship is a supplementary scholarship established to provide financial assistance to research students within the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney who are members of the Quantum Science Group. This scholarship is funded by the recipient's Quantum Science Group supervisor and is designed to supplement a primary scholarship. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the difference between the University of Sydney RTP rate and the recipient's primary scholarship plus any other supplementary scholarship for that year. The duration is up to 1.75 years for Masters by Research recipients and up to 3.5 years for PhD recipients, subject to satisfactory academic performance. No application is required as all Quantum Science Group members with a current primary scholarship will be automatically considered based on academic merit, area of study and/or research proposal, and endorsement of their Quantum Science Group supervisor.
