About this opportunity
The Queer Curatorial Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in a degree program in PSOA Film, Video, Animation, and New Genres at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This scholarship recognizes excellence in artistic merit and/or projects featuring subject matter in the spirit of LGBT+ issues and expressions of acceptance. The award can be issued in recognition of subject matter understood as LGBT, queer, and/or related to understanding, making room for difference, acceptance, and inclusion. Peck School of the Arts scholarships require artistic merit, full-time enrollment with at least 6 credits in the major, and academic achievement with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Recipients must submit a work sample with project description as part of the application process.
