Quercus College Scholarships College of Business and Law

The Quercus College Scholarships in the College of Business and Law at University College Cork are recognition awards offered as medals, tenable for one year, based on academic merit from Summer First and Second Year University Examinations. These scholarships are available to current UCC students who have successfully completed the relevant academic year in their originally chosen programme within the minimum prescribed time. To be eligible for the award, students must achieve first class honours (or equivalent) at their first attempt in spring/summer examinations, unless special permission has been granted. The awards consist of a medal and parchment presented at a College prize-giving ceremony, recognizing outstanding academic achievement across various business and law programmes. Where multiple students achieve the same top marks, contribution to university public life through clubs and societies serves as a tie-breaker. These are merit-based recognition awards, not financial scholarships, and students remain liable for all tuition, registration, and capitation fees.
