Quercus Innovation/Entrepreneurship Scholarships

The Quercus Innovation/Entrepreneurship Scholarships at University College Cork support students who demonstrate exceptional excellence in innovation and entrepreneurship. These scholarships are awarded to students registered on undergraduate/level 8 programmes at UCC who show sustained engagement in innovative/entrepreneurial activities and have achieved recognition at local, regional, national, or international level. The scholarship can be renewed for subsequent years, subject to meeting retention requirements and progressing academically. Scholars are expected to act as ambassadors for UCC and participate in activities promoting the Quercus Programme. Through this initiative, UCC aims to nurture entrepreneurship, support business start-ups, and turn innovative ideas into innovative products and services, while also making a positive impact on the future of the Irish economy. The programme provides comprehensive support including financial assistance, mentorship, and personal development opportunities to help talented students balance academic achievement with entrepreneurial excellence.
