About this opportunity
The Quinquin Foundation Scholarship was established in 2014 for the education and formation of young talents in the field of classical music. The scholarship supports students enrolled in full-time coursework or research degrees at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music at the University of Sydney who come from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, personal statement, demonstrated evidence of disadvantage, and/or portfolio and performance. For postgraduate research applicants, research achievements and potential may also be considered. The scholarship value and duration are determined by the Dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and stipulated in the scholarship offer letter to successful recipients.
