Ralph Y. McGinnis Scholarship

The Ralph Y. McGinnis Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate or graduate students at Eastern Illinois University who demonstrate a major academic interest in Lincoln Studies, Public Address, Rhetoric, or Forensics. The scholarship specifically recognizes students who are actively engaged in community service through organizations such as Leo Club, Scouts, Church, Schools, Political Organizations, or other service organizations. Applicants must demonstrate their commitment to both academic excellence in communication studies and meaningful community engagement. The scholarship supports students in the Communication Studies department who embody the values of civic responsibility and scholarly pursuit in the fields of public discourse and forensics.
