About this opportunity
The Rampion Community Benefit Fund seeks to support projects that benefit local communities with links to environment and ecology, climate change and energy. Priority is given to projects that help tackle disadvantage and improve the lives of people and their well-being. The Fund offers two types of grants: community projects up to £10,000 and capital projects up to £20,000 for improving community buildings in terms of energy use, generation, storage and energy efficiency. The Fund is administered by Sussex Community Foundation and is available to charities, community groups and not-for-profit organisations operating within a specific geographic area extending from Littlehampton Harbour in the west to Beachy Head in the east, and up to the A272 near Twineham in the north, close to the Rampion wind farm's onshore substation. Applications are accepted annually, typically between December and April/May.
