About this opportunity
The Ramzi Doany Memorial Scholarship is awarded to select undergraduate students enrolled in the Sheldon B. Lubar College of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee who are majoring in Accounting. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, have demonstrated financial need, and show active community involvement. The scholarship has a particular cultural focus, giving first preference to students who demonstrate familiarity with the cultures of Palestine and/or Jordan, and second preference to students who demonstrate familiarity with countries or cultures other than the United States. The award provides $1,000 to selected recipients and is funded by Samia Doany and multiple individual donors in memory of Ramzi Doany.
