Randy Stefanizyn Bursary I

The Randy Stefanizyn Bursary I is a financial award established to honor Randy Stefanizyn, a welding engineering graduate who spent over 30 years at Syncrude Canada in various leadership positions. The award was created as a thank you to Randy on behalf of the Alberta Council of Turnaround Maintenance Stakeholders (ACTIMS), which he helped found and chaired. This bursary is available to students enrolled in a full-time credit program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). The award recognizes well-rounded students who demonstrate strong leadership aptitude through participation in school or community involvement and volunteer work. Awarded on the basis of financial need, this bursary supports students who exemplify leadership qualities and community engagement while pursuing their studies at NAIT. Students must complete an application to be considered for this award.
