Rathnavalu Family Award in Student Leadership

The Rathnavalu Family Award in Student Leadership is awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering the third or fourth year of an undergraduate degree at Augustana Faculty, University of Alberta. Selection is based on demonstrated leadership qualities, embracing cultural diversity, and involvement in extracurricular and community activities, particularly those promoting justice and human rights. Academic standing is also considered in the selection process. The award is supported by endowed funds from the Rathnavalu Family and aims to recognize students who exemplify leadership and commitment to social justice values within their campus and broader community.
