Rattlerow Pig Industry Scholarship (with placement year)

The Rattlerow Pig Industry Scholarship is offered to 2nd year BSc or 1st year FdSc students studying at Harper Adams University who are interested in pursuing a career in the pig industry. The scholarship provides a significant contribution towards education of £4,500, along with paid employment with the sponsoring pig industry company during the placement year. Subject to a review at the end of placement, there may be an opportunity for further funding in the scholar's final academic year. The award is paid in two equal parts - half in February 2026 and the remaining balance in May 2026. A mandatory condition of the scholarship is that the placement year must be spent with the sponsoring organisation. This is a competitive award evaluated on merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date, and interview performance.
