Ray Padovan "Swim Early to Swim Fast" Swimming Athletic Scholarship

The Ray Padovan "Swim Early to Swim Fast" Swimming Athletic Scholarship is an athletic scholarship awarded to full-time students at Eastern Illinois University who demonstrate potential for success in swimming. The scholarship provides $1,000 per year, payable in two equal installments during the Fall and Spring semesters. Recipients must be academically and athletically eligible, carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours. Preference is given to students who demonstrate the greatest potential for success in swimming. Financial need may be considered at the discretion of the Selection Committee, particularly in cases where multiple students equally meet the criteria. Once the endowment corpus has earned sufficient funding, additional scholarships in multiples of $500 may be awarded to multiple students. This privately funded endowment scholarship is intended to add an additional scholarship to the sport of swimming at Eastern Illinois University without decreasing total scholarship availability. Recipients may receive this scholarship only once. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application.
