Raymond L. Modesitt Math Scholarship

The Raymond L. Modesitt Math Scholarship is awarded to outstanding mathematics students at Eastern Illinois University who are pursuing a teaching career. The scholarship supports junior or senior mathematics majors enrolled in the Teacher Education Program with the specific intent to teach mathematics. Recipients must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement with at least a high 'B' average and have at least one semester remaining before receiving their Bachelor's Degree. Financial need is also considered in the selection process. This award is typically announced in the Spring and disbursed in the following Fall and Spring semesters.
