About this opportunity
Scholarships valued at up to $20,000 each will be provided annually to graduate students registered full time in a Master's or Doctoral program at the School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) in the Faculty of Arts, and the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development (SEED) in the Faculty of Environment, at the University of Waterloo. Selection will be made based on academic excellence, extracurricular achievements and/or volunteer involvement with the Hub for Sustainability Integration and demonstrated research in the fields of financial management or sustainability, as appropriate. This award is made possible by a contribution from Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). Each of the Schools will notify their respective registered students and invite them to submit an application for this scholarship opportunity in the spring term. Eligible students must be conducting research in the field of sustainability and financial management, and must maintain a minimum first-class (80%) cumulative average in the current program or over the last two full-time academic years. Past recipients are eligible to reapply for this scholarship.
