About this opportunity
The RBC Royal Bank Aboriginal Student Awards Program provides financial support to Indigenous students pursuing post-secondary education in Canada. Selected students receive up to $4,000 each academic year for two to four years to cover tuition, textbooks, supplies, and living expenses. RBC awards 10 scholarships in two categories: one for students majoring in disciplines related to the financial services industry, and another for students in unrelated disciplines. The program is open to Status Indians, Non-status Indians, Inuit, and Métis students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents attending accredited post-secondary institutions. Recipients must maintain full course load leading to a recognized degree, certificate, or diploma and have at least two years remaining in their program. The selection process is based on personal and academic achievements as well as financial need, conducted by a committee of Aboriginal academics and RBC representatives.
